One of the Chronicle’s core missions is to provide in-depth coverage of major donors — their favorite causes, the motivations behind their giving, and how nonprofits can connect with them.

Back in 2017, IDP Foundation, Inc. became a founding partner of the Harambe Entrepreneur Alliance in order to find a way to effectively support the many social enterprises that are working towards hard to tackle global issues.

While most of our grantmaking is done to support our keystone program, the IDP Rising Schools Program, and to promote advocacy efforts in global education, we also fund locally based organizations that share our same belief that education is a key component to conquering many of the world’s greatest challenges.

In September, IDPF's President and CEO Irene Pritzker and IDPF Chief Operating Officer Alison Ehlke participated in the first ever TBLI Inspiration Weekend retreat in Scotland hosted by the TBLI Group.

For the past few years, the IDP Foundation has been proud to grant to a local Chicago organization, the Shedd Aquarium.
